Food Permits

Community Integrity protects the public health by monitoring food safety in restaurants, daycares, grocery stores, public and private schools and other wholesale, retail and institutional food establishments. We also mange licensing of restaurants, mobile food vendors, and ice cream trucks. The program provides the most recent information regarding restaurant inspections and scores for the public to review.

Food Permits

All food establishments in the town must have a current health permit, which is an annual permit that must be renewed in January of each year. Each food establishment in town has at least two inspections per year, and must have their Health Certificate and grade card posted in an area that is clearly visible to the public. A Certificate of Occupancy will not be granted to a new business until the Health Inspection has been passed and a Health Certificate has been issued.
